Georgian Technical University, 6th block
To mark its 100th anniversary, the Technical University of Georgia has planned several significant projects. Among the key events celebrating this milestone is the complete rehabilitation of the sixth building.
The damaged façade of the large building on Saakadze Square disrupts the central part of the city, making it less appealing for students to study here.
Our company will contribute to the enhancement of the Technical University, the first engineering center in the South Caucasus region.
The Technical University of Georgia collaborates successfully with some of the world’s largest research centers and universities. It also houses a unique information technology laboratory in the region.
Therefore, the building’s new appearance should reflect the university's commitment to embracing technological advancements and innovations as a leading engineering institution.
Megawatt LLC was responsible for the interior and façade design of the building. The work was carried out in two stages:
Stage I: Architectural planning (functional layout), façade design, and corresponding cost estimation.
Stage II: Delivery of the complete project cost documentation and approval of the façade design with the municipality.
Interior area: 30 800 მ2.
Facade: 15 000 მ2.
