Kindergarten in Tsalenjikha
A kindergarten for 50 children is planned in the village of Obuji, Tsalenjikha Municipality, with a state procurement tender announced for the project. The site covers an area of 2,670 m². In addition to the kindergarten building, the project includes an outdoor playground with shade and a boiler room. A fire access road will also surround the building.
The building includes the spaces specified in the competition brief: one group room for toddlers with a bedroom, and one group room for preschool children without a bedroom. Additionally, the building features a kitchen, a gym, and administrative rooms. These spaces are separated by 2-hour fire-resistant partitions.
The building's façade is fitted with a thermal insulation system and finished with Munich plaster.
The building's primary structural system consists of a monolithic reinforced concrete frame.
The foundation consists of a monolithic slab poured on-site. The interfloor ceilings, façade, and load-bearing walls are constructed from monolithic reinforced concrete slabs, with concrete blocks used to fill the walls.
When designing educational institutions, special emphasis is placed on fire safety and environmental considerations.
The company 'Megawatt' was responsible for preparing the detailed project for the construction of the kindergarten using the Design-Build method.
