A government tender has been announced for the comprehensive rehabilitation of the second building at the University of Theater and Film. The project includes the interior redesign of the building as well as the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the courtyard. The building has been designated as a cultural monument

In the university courtyard, underground utilities were designed and installed, and new landscaping was implemented. Seating areas and lighting poles were added, and the open stage was renovated. The stage now features a modern, movable roof with an automatic opening and closing mechanism.

The main architectural composition has been preserved in the reconstruction project. The facades facing Aghmashenebeli Avenue, as well as Soso and Kote Tsereteli Street, remain unchanged. The museum space inside the building, which is also designated as a monument, has been left intact.
